2019 Walk and 5K Run Through the Park

The Times Herald

Annually, for the past 16 years, the Walk & 5K Run Through the Park has raised thousands of dollars to enhance patient care in Montgomery County. Walkers, runners and their supporters are making a direct and immediate impact on patients being treated for cancer at Einstein Montgomery and their families.

Funds raised by the 16th Annual Walk & 5K Run Through the Park will fund programs and services that impact the lives of those in our community diagnosed with cancer.

This year we are walking in memory of a previous employee, Sandy Bernstiel's father, Harold R. Tripp, Sr. He was an avid newspaper and Times Herald reader.

Many of us have family members and friends who have been touched by cancer. Come join us to walk or support us.

The overall walk and run this year is to help fund lung cancer screening enhancements at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. This lung cancer screening platform supports patient navigation from intake through diagnosis. Focused on early detection, prevention and analysis, this program will ensure a more efficient tracking, scheduling, and screening process so patients and potential patients can receive the care they need.

Thank you for your support!
